Yes. Next Goal is a real product operated by Next Goal Solutions LLC. Payments are processed through Stripe, and the platform uses a properly scoped Google integration: the gmail.send scope is required to deliver the emails you write, and the optional gmail.readonly scope is used only for reply detection inside threads you started. Their terms state they do not search, scan, or index the rest of your mailbox. Legitimacy is not the issue with NextGoal. The things worth checking before you buy are the price, the trial length, and the refund policy.

No. NextGoal has no free plan. The only free access is a 1-day free trial on the Plus tier, and their signup flow requires an active subscription before you can reach the dashboard. Their higher Max tier is not advertised with a trial at all. If you want to send real coach emails without paying first, NextCommit has a permanently free plan that includes a Recruit Score and 25 coach emails per month.

If you are targeting them, confirm coverage before paying.
