I’m a dedicated athlete who plays both soccer and football. As captain of my MLS NEXT soccer team, I’m not always the loudest person on the field, but I try to be one of the most consistent and dependable. I like to lead by example more than words. I try to be the first one ready at practice, encourage teammates when they make mistakes, and keep everyone focused when things aren’t going our way. I also try to help younger players feel included and set a good example with my effort and attitude. Playing two sports has taught me how to handle challenges, listen to my coaches, and work with different teammates. I know I still have a lot to learn, but I always give my best effort and try to be someone my teammates can count on.
