I pride myself on being a good teammate and someone my coaches and teammates can count on. I was named captain of my varsity team as a junior, and I take that responsibility seriously. I lead by example by working hard, encouraging my teammates, and staying positive when things get tough. I’m competitive and always looking to improve. I listen to my coaches, take feedback seriously, and put in the work to get better. Whether it’s practice or a game, I want to bring consistent effort and help my team succeed. Being a captain also means holding myself accountable. I know my attitude and actions affect the people around me, and I want to earn their trust through what I do every day.
