Recruiting ledger
During my sophomore season, I had growth spurt, and that was when I decided to give football a try. Undersized, I was placed on my former high schools practice squad as a tight end daily going up against an Indiana University, Tennessee, and LSU commits. I learned so much from that experience. By the end of that season, I was around 6'1", 180 pounds. The start of my junior year, I was enrolled at a new school and I had grown to 6'4", 215 pounds and earned a starting varsity role at Tight End, primarily as a blocker. During the offseason leading into my senior year, I made the transition to Defensive End. I grew another inch, gained 25+ pounds, and put in a lot of work to become bigger, stronger, and more explosive. Football is still relatively new to me, but I absolutely love the game. I love the things that players who have been around the game for years might take for granted. Every practice, every rep, and every opportunity to improve is exciting to me. Because the game is still fresh.
