What sets me apart as a teammate is that I genuinely care about the people around me and the success of the team. I may be quiet, but I lead through my actions. I’m the teammate who will encourage you after a tough inning, celebrate your success like it’s my own, and do whatever I can to help the team win. I believe being a great teammate means showing up when your team needs you—even when it isn’t easy. This past weekend, I played through a pinched nerve because I knew my team needed me. I don’t expect recognition for it; that’s simply how I believe a teammate should be. I will always put the team before myself, stay positive, work hard, and be someone my teammates can count on—on the field and off. I believe in being the hardest worker in the room.
